The Micat operates on a demand-based timetable, so during busy periods they can run up to 5 times per day. As the Micat takes approximately 90 minutes to reach Moreton Island, the turnaround time is approximately four hours (including loading), so make sure you get in quick to get the best departure time from Brisbane and Moreton.

Passenger ferry services depart from Holt Street Wharf in Pinkenba, Brisbane and arrive at the Tangalooma Jetty on Moreton Island. Travelling time is just 75 minutes each way, with 4 boat services operating daily in each direction (Brisbane to Tangalooma). Please note this is a passenger ferry only, not a vehicle barge. Single day cruise options available for none house guests.

Coochiemudlo Island is a small island in the southern part of Moreton Bay, near Brisbane. There are many types of wildlife on the island, with its birdlife including sea eagles, brahmany kites, magpies, rosellas, butcher birds, pheasant coucals and a colony of stone curlews which are counted each year. The island is serviced by the passenger ferry, Amity Trader, traveling between Coochiemudlo Island and Victoria Point. A vehicular barge also operates regular services to and from the island.
